Details: Details: Tutorwiz Education Centre is looking for Special Education teachers and EA’s to work part-time at its Ajax and Downsview locations and soon to be opened location in Newmarket. Teachers must have a minimum of Special Education Part 1. Both teachers and EA’s must enjoy working with students with ADD/ADHD, Learning Disabilities and Asperger’s. Knowledge of or a willingness to learn how to effectively use Assistive Technology applications such as Kurzweil 3000, Dragon Naturally Speaking, WordQ, Inspiration/Smart Ideas, etc. is required. Training will be provided on these applications with no initial cash outlay. About Tutorwiz: Tutorwiz Education Centre is dedicated to providing specialize tutoring tailored to student needs for students with ADD/ADHD, Learning Disabilities and Asperger’s. We also offer students one-on-one training sessions on Assistive Technology applications. In addition we offer workshops on Assistive Technology for parents and educators and summer AT camps for children 6 to 14 years of age. Hours of operation for student services – weekdays 3:30 to 9:00 and Saturdays 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
