Kativik Ilisarniliriniq is a school board offering educational services in the 14 communities of Nunavik.

FUNCTION & DUTIES:
Under the immediate supervision of the assistant director of Payroll, the Office Agent Principal Class will ensure the proper administration of key payroll and benefit files and assist with the overall operations of the department.
• Administrating the SSQ Group insurance
• CARRA pension funds
• Conducting pension workshops with small groups of plan members
• Processing of forms and documentation for the administration of benefits
• Informing employees about pension matters and benefit plans
• Any other related duty as required by his/her immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or a diploma or attestation recognized as equivalent by the Board;
Six (6) years of experience in the field of payroll and the administration of workplace benefits.

The Board may, at its discretion, waive any or all of the afore-mentioned qualifications if it finds a suitable candidate who is a beneficiary of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement (JBNQA) and who accepts, as a condition of employment, to follow a training plan determined by the Board.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience with the administration of the CARRA pension plans;
• Strong background in the field of computerized payroll;
• Proficient with office software, such as Word, Excel & PowerPoint;
• Available to travel;
• Bilingual (French and English);
• A working knowledge of GRICS based computer systems would be an asset.

WORK SCHEDULE: From 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday

CLASSIFICATION / SALARY / BENEFITS:
In accordance with the AENQ collective agreement for support staff / from $21.20 to $24.65 an hour depending on qualification and experience.

In addition to salary, you may be eligible to other benefits such as:

All benefits are prorated based on the percentage of the task.
