The Chinook School Division No. 211 is seeking a dynamic, student-focused leader to be Principal of École Centennial School in Swift Current beginning August 28, 2018.
École Centennial is a Pre K – 8 dual track English and French Immersion Public school that is home to up to 500 students.
Centennial is part of an integrated multi use facility that boasts several shared learning spaces with All Saints Pre K-8 Catholic School.

Preference will be given to applicants who possess the following qualifications:
-B.Ed/M.Ed
-Minimum of 5 years successful teaching experience in addition to minimum two (2) successful years as a school administrator.
-The ability to work collaboratively with many community partners and the administration team from All Saints Catholic School to coordinate the scheduling and use of shared school space.
-Working collaboratively with the Superintendent to maintain a model school.
-Knowledge of best practices in educational leadership, professional learning communities, assessment, effective schools research and application to the work of school based administration.
-Demonstrated leadership ability and commitment to working as a member of the school division's educational leadership team.
-Demonstrated ability in program, curriculum and staff development.
-Demonstrated knowledge of current educational trends, methods and use of technology to enhance instruction.
-Demonstrated ability to time-table and an ability to program to meet the needs of students.
-Demonstrated skills in community involvement and public relations including the ability to work cooperatively with parents, professionals and community service agencies.
-Graduate level training in areas such as supervision of instruction, program and curriculum development and administration.
-High degree of discretion and personal integrity with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
